Dance Initiative Greater Manchester (DiGM, pronounced DIME), is Greater Manchester’s* central dance organisation providing a whole range of opportunities for dance.

We run creative projects throughout the region & offers advice & information.

We are a charity working to increase access to high quality dance activity to underrepresented communities. DiGM work throughout the ten bororughs of Greater Manchester in partnership with local authorities, communities, educators and artists.

At DiGM we specialize in developing dance for the outdoors and in unusual spaces, we want to break boundaries and offer new experiences both to artists and audiences.

DiGM’s work ranges from a number of exciting community projects in the Greater Manchester districts such as ‘STRIDE’, to the biennial international festival, Urban Moves, and lots in between! We work closely with dance artists and companies, arts organisations, community groups, venues, local authorities and funders. We support and develop networks.
