STRIDE 2 – Young Men Dancing Project
Kevin Turner and Anthony Missen, who make up Company Chameleon, are both from Manchester and trained in Trafford and Leeds – they now tour the world and the UK creating unique performances.
They’re committed to helping other young men achieve their potential.
Following the great success of Stride in Stockport, Oldham and Wigan. DiGM and Company Chameleon will be rolling out Stride into 3 other districts of Greater Manchester: Rochdale, Tameside and East Manchester.
The project will culminate in a sited performance at the Urban Moves Festival 23rd-25th July 2010.

The performance teams in each district will meet weekly to create a dance piece for the Urban Moves Dance Festival in Manchester City Centre on 24th -25th July 2010.
Groups will meet as follows:
Wigan – Mondays 4-6pm at Westleigh High School
Rochdale – Tuesdays 4-6pm at Oulderhill High School
Oldham – Wednesdays 5-7pm at Oldham College
Stockport – Thursdays 4-6pm - venue TBC
Tameside – Thursdays 5-7pm at Ashton 6th Form College
East Manchester – Day and time TBC – at Wright Robinson Sports College.
Intensive Rehearsal Week
From 19th to 22nd July you will be needed to attend an intensive rehearsal period both in your district and in Manchester City Centre. Details of the schedule is TBC.
