STRIDE 2015, Greater Manchester’s annual young men’s dance project for 10-20 year olds.
STRIDE performed at the beautiful award-winning Whitworth art gallery. The young men’s journey started with outreach in schools, many having never taken part in dance before. After this followed district try-outs allowing participants the chance to show their passion & commitment to our artists. After weekly sessions, the chosen participants entered the rehearsal week at the Whitworth before showcasing their first ever live performances together; choreographed by Company Chameleon and supported by a team of local professional dancers, brought together by Dance Manchester.
